The group is open to all members with a genuine interest and love of music. A wide range of music from across the ages is played, enjoyed and explored in many directions. Different forms, styles and genres are examined, mainly through Classical Music. Instruments and orchestration are studied; the lives of composers and artists are researched and the stories behind the music are appreciated more.

All members of the group participate in healthy discussion and show enthusiastic willingness
to lead, learn and share resources. Occasionally the meeting is ‘Open’ to other interest groups when visiting musicians are in attendance.
